Unlike a free-paint session, a guided party means every guest ends up with something they're genuinely proud of, regardless of their experience or confidence level.
At Scriblz, we bring everything to your home or venue — canvases, paints, brushes, aprons, step-by-step guidance and full clean-up. You don't need to lift a finger.
What age is best for a paint party?
Our paint parties are designed for children aged 6 and up. This is the sweet spot where kids have enough fine motor control and concentration to follow guided steps and create something they're truly proud of.
We offer three difficulty levels to make sure every child is challenged at exactly the right level:
⭐ Beginner — Ages 6+. Simple shapes, bold colours, easy steps. Perfect for younger groups or first-time painters.
⭐⭐ Intermediate — Ages 8+. A little more detail and technique. Great for kids who've dabbled in art before.
⭐⭐⭐ Advanced — Ages 10+. More complex compositions and shading. For the confident, creative painters who want to really push themselves.
How do I choose a painting design?

Just note your preferred design when you submit your booking enquiry and we'll confirm it suits your group's age and skill level. Want something completely unique? Custom designs are available with at least 14 days notice for an additional $65.
What's included in a Scriblz paint party?
Everything. Seriously — here's what we bring:
- Canvases for every guest
- All paints, brushes and palette supplies
- Aprons to protect clothing
- Step-by-step guided instruction from your Scriblz host
- Full setup before the party starts
- Complete clean-up after the party ends
All you need to provide is the space and the excited kids.
How long does a paint party go for?
Scriblz paint parties run for 3.5 hours — giving plenty of time for everyone to settle in, paint at their own pace and finish with something beautiful. The painting itself typically takes 60–90 minutes, with time built in for setup, socialising and any other party activities you have planned.
How many guests can I have?
We offer three package sizes:
- Intimate — Up to 7 guests · $320
- Classic — Up to 15 guests · $530
- Deluxe — Up to 25 guests · $750
Additional guests can be added at $30 per child up to a maximum of 25. The Intimate package includes 1 Scriblz host, while Classic and Deluxe include 2 hosts to ensure every child gets the support they need.
Can I add extras to my paint party?
