We love capturing the joy of Scriblz parties — but your family's privacy matters. Here's everything you need to know about photography, consent and how images are used.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography add-on
Scriblz offers an optional photography add-on for birthday parties — capturing the candid moments, the proud faces and the group shot at the end. Here's how it works:
Base package — $220
Approximately 15 candid shots throughout the party plus a group photo. Delivered digitally within 5 business days.
Premium package — $320
Approximately 20 candid shots plus a group photo, delivered digitally. Also includes a printed Birthday Memories Book — a beautiful keepsake for the birthday child.

Photography is offered where a suitable photographer is available on your party date. Availability cannot be guaranteed — please enquire at time of booking and we will confirm whether photography is available for your date.

Scriblz hosts may take photos at parties for use on our website, social media and marketing materials. We take your family's privacy seriously — here's exactly what that means:
We always ask first
Before using any photos of children on our website or social media, we will always seek written consent from the parent or guardian of the child pictured.
You can withdraw consent
If you have previously consented to images being used and wish to withdraw that consent, contact us at any time and we will remove the relevant images from our channels.
Images are never sold
Photos taken by Scriblz are never sold to or shared with third parties. They are used only for Scriblz marketing purposes.
Consent is always optional
You are never obligated to consent to your child's image being used in our marketing. Declining consent has absolutely no impact on your booking or our service.
OPT OUT
Opting out of photography
If you do not want your child photographed at their party — by Scriblz or by the optional photography add-on — please let us know at time of booking.
Note your preference in the "anything else we should know" field when booking
Or contact us directly before your party date
We will ensure your child is not photographed during the session
We completely respect all photography preferences. There is no awkwardness, no questions asked and no impact on your party experience. Just let us know.
GUEST PICS
Photos taken by guests & parents
Parents and guests are of course welcome to take their own photos and videos throughout the party for personal use.
We do ask that if you share photos from your Scriblz party on social media, you are mindful of other children in the images and obtain consent from their parents before posting photos that clearly identify other children.
If you share photos of your party and tag Scriblz, we may reshare your post on our social channels. If you'd prefer we didn't reshare your content, just let us know and we'll respect that immediately.
SOCIALS
Scriblz social media
We share party photos, creative results and behind-the-scenes content on our social channels — primarily Instagram and Facebook under @scriblznewcastle.
We never post photos of children without parental consent
We never tag or identify children by name in public posts
We never share location information that could identify a private home
Artwork and party setups are shared regularly — often without any children in frame
If you share photos of your party and tag Scriblz, we may reshare your post on our social channels. If you'd prefer we didn't reshare your content, just let us know and we'll respect that immediately.
