By booking a Scriblz party, you agree to these terms. We've written them to be clear and fair — no legal jargon where we can avoid it.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of mobile art party services by Scriblz, operated by Genevieve [Last name], Newcastle NSW Australia ("Scriblz", "we", "us").
By making a booking enquiry, confirming a booking or making payment to Scriblz, you ("the client") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking.

Bookings & confirmation
Enquiry vs confirmed booking
Submitting a booking enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed only once Scriblz has sent a written booking confirmation and a deposit or full payment has been received.
Booking details
The client is responsible for providing accurate information at time of booking including guest numbers, venue details, date, time and any relevant allergies or medical conditions.
Minimum notice
A minimum of 7 days notice is required for all bookings. Short-notice bookings under 7 days may be available where possible — a $120 short-notice fee applies and availability cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to booking details
Any changes to confirmed booking details (date, time, guest numbers, party type) must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and applicable fees.
Payment
Deposit
A deposit is required to secure your booking date. The deposit amount will be confirmed at time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation under 7 days — see our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Additional fees
Additional fees may apply for: short-notice bookings ($120), travel outside the standard service area (+$70 or +$120), additional guests beyond your tier ($40/child), and custom artwork for paint parties ($65 with 14 days notice).
Balance payment
The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of the party as agreed at time of booking. Scriblz reserves the right to withhold services until full payment is received.
Pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Scriblz reserves the right to update pricing at any time — prices quoted at time of booking confirmation will be honoured.
Client responsibilities
By booking a Scriblz party, the client agrees to:
Ensure a suitable party space is available — with adequate room for the activity, guests and Scriblz setup
Ensure a responsible adult is present on the premises at all times during the party
Disclose all relevant allergies, medical conditions and sensitivities at time of booking
Provide access to a toilet for Scriblz staff
Ensure the venue is safe and accessible for Scriblz staff and guests
For outdoor parties — have a suitable indoor backup available in case of inclement weather
Ensure guest numbers do not significantly exceed the confirmed booking number without prior agreement
Not request Scriblz staff to perform tasks outside the scope of the agreed service
Scriblz responsibilities
Scriblz agrees to:
Provide the agreed service on the confirmed date and time
Supply all materials, equipment and protective covers required for the activity
Provide a trained, WWCC-checked and first aid certified host for every party
Set up, deliver and pack down the activity as agreed
Manage all waste and water disposal responsibly
Treat the client's property with care and respect
Communicate promptly and professionally regarding any changes or issues
Cancellation & rescheduling
Our full Cancellation Policy is available at scriblz.com.au/cancellation-policy. Key terms:
14+ days notice
Free reschedule or full refund of any amount paid (minus payment processing fees).
7–13 days notice
$50 reschedule fee applies. Cancellation results in 50% refund of deposit.
Under 7 days
No refund. In the event of a same-day cancellation or no-show, full party amount may be charged if the host has travelled to the venue.
Liability
Scriblz takes all reasonable care to deliver services safely and professionally. However:
Scriblz is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from the client's failure to disclose relevant allergies, medical conditions or hazards at the venue
Scriblz is not liable for any damage to property caused by guests or third parties not under the direct supervision of Scriblz staff
Scriblz's liability is limited to the value of the service provided
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law
Scriblz holds current public liability insurance. A certificate of currency is available on request — particularly for school, OSHC and event bookings.

Key terms:
Scriblz may photograph parties for marketing purposes — consent is always sought before publicly sharing images of children
Clients may opt out of photography at any time by notifying us in writing
Images are never sold to third parties
Previously consented images may be removed on request
Intellectual property
All artwork designs, activity concepts, guides and materials created by Scriblz remain the intellectual property of Scriblz. Clients are welcome to share photos of their party and artwork on personal social media for non-commercial purposes.
Scriblz artwork designs may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission from Scriblz.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
